To Sleep, Perchance To Not Keel Over With Exhaustion...

Amy slept!!! She's still sleeping right now!!! It is 6:30 am and she has been sleeping solid since 8:30 last night!!! !!! !!!

Ok, I know I've been a little slow on the blog lately (this was hilariously pointed out by fiery k. yesterday!) but there's a good reason. I can't quite remember that reason at the moment but I know it has something to do with the fact that Amy wasn't sleeping a whole lot. This past week was the worst and Jon was away in Halifax for work so I was basically a zombie who went to bed any time that Amy did.

So lots of things have happened over the past two weeks. Where to start? Well, we had another spaghetti incident. This time she basically used the spaghetti as a body wash! It was a lot of fun and we had some good laughs but the best part was realizing that our baby is not a precious little princess - she's a nose picker!!

She might not have found any gold up there but I can guarantee she found some noodles! In this next photo she is awash in a sea of sauce and loving every minute of it:

Finally, here she is at the end of the meal. In this one she is trying to push her booster seat tray off so she can launch herself into the bath. She's mad at me for taking yet another picture instead of helping her...that's my girl!

Something else that has happened in the past two weeks is that I've finally solved the mystery of just what the hell Cheez Whiz is and how it must be made. It's so obvious that they give some chunks of cheese to a baby, said baby then stuffs cheese in mouth like a vulture and proceeds to mash it against the roof of her mouth, baby chokes, baby spits everything out, and voila! Cheez Whiz!

Sorry to ruin your favourite breakfast, Grand-papa! Hey, who am I kidding - as if I could ruin a Beaudoin appetite!

Well, it is now 7:10 am and our little Bubbaloo is awake. I'm going to go give her some hugs and kisses because I've missed her. As much as I love her sleeping through the night there are times when I wake up and wish she was awake, too.
